Rally for Pollard Rally at Knesset Today

A demonstration on behalf of imprisoned American-Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard will be held Sunday afternoon opposite the Knesset.

The 5 p.m. rally in the Wohl Rose Garden is expected to draw hundreds of people, and will be followed by a series of small vigils outside the homes of ministers, urging them to lobby the US government on Pollard's behalf, organizers said.

A former civilian intelligence analyst for the US Navy, Pollard has served 18 years of a life sentence for spying for Israel.
